TalentTapped is a product of DuoNova ("we", "our", "us"), designed to help job seekers improve their chances of getting shortlisted through tools such as ResumeLens, Resume Builder, Chatbot, and Job Portal and others offered on platform.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your personal and professional data is collected, used, and safeguarded. By accessing or using TalentTapped (https://www.talenttapped.com), you agree to the terms outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU DISCONTINUE USE OF THE PLATFORM.

2. Information We Collect

When you use TalentTapped, we collect certain information to provide and improve our services. This includes personal information such as your name, email address, and basic profile details, which are primarily obtained through Google authentication. In addition, when you use features like ResumeLens or the Resume Builder, we collect and process your resume data, including the content of your resume, structured information extracted from it (such as skills, experience, and education), and the results of any analysis performed.

We also collect usage-related information, such as how you interact with the platform, pages visited, features used, device and browser information, and IP address. This helps us understand how users engage with TalentTapped and allows us to improve performance and usability. We use analytics tools such as PostHog to analyze usage patterns and improve our services.

If and when paid features are introduced, payments may be processed through third-party providers. TalentTapped does not store or process your payment details directly; such transactions are handled securely by the respective payment providers.

3. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used to deliver and improve the TalentTapped experience. This includes analyzing your resume using AI models, generating ATS scores and feedback, helping you build structured and ATS-friendly resumes, and providing relevant job opportunities. We also use your data to track your progress on the platform, enhance product features, ensure platform security, and communicate important updates or improvements.

When you upload a resume, our system processes the content to identify sections, extract relevant information, and generate actionable insights. This processing is done solely to provide meaningful analysis and recommendations to you.

4. AI and Data Processing

TalentTapped uses AI technologies provided by third-party services, including OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and Anthropic, to power features such as resume analysis and recommendations. Your data may be processed by these systems only to enable functionality within the platform. We do not use your data to train public AI models, nor do we share your data for external AI training purposes. All processing is limited to improving your experience and providing accurate insights.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is securely stored using services such as Firebase, MongoDB, and our platform is hosted on infrastructure providers including Vercel and Render. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. While no system is completely secure, we continuously work to maintain a high level of data protection.

6. Data Sharing

TalentTapped does not sell your personal or resume data. We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate the platform, such as hosting providers, analytics tools, and AI service providers. These partners are obligated to handle your data securely. Your profile can be made discoverable to trusted hiring partners for relevant career opportunities. In cases where you access TalentTapped through an organization (such as a university or training program), certain authorized representatives of that organization may have access to relevant data, but only within the scope of that engagement.

7. Resume Data Handling

We recognize that resumes contain sensitive personal and professional information. Your resume is used strictly for analysis and improvement within TalentTapped. It is not publicly visible unless you choose to share it. You retain full ownership of your resume and can modify or delete it at any time.

TalentTapped uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience, maintain sessions, and analyze platform usage. These technologies help us understand user behavior and improve our services.
